The founding Managing Director, Yew-Thong Leong, is a seasoned professional with 25 years of industry experience, which includes teaching and research at Ryerson University’s Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Science, the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education and the Yeates School of Graduate Studies. Prior to the founding of SSG, Prof. Leong was a Director at one of Canada’s largest architectural firm, where he spent two decades designing and managing most of their institutional projects.

Members of the SSG managerial team include a corporate Ethics Advisor - Rev. Josephine Kok, two Practice Associates - Emma Lee and Phillip Frederickson; and a Director of Marketing and Business Development - Angela Phangsoa. Through a strategic alliance with a Pacific Rim consortium (hyperlink to signet), SSG has the capability to operate 24/5 due to the strategic operation of offices in 4 different time zones.

The SSG team provides architecture and interiors, urban design and planning, heritage conservation and preservation, adaptive reuse, renovations and rehabilitation, and pre-design (research and development, specialized programming and project management) services to private and public sector clients.
